Day 1: Delhi to Manali

  • We will take the Atal tunnel route and enter Sissu village and from there drive to Jispa.

Day 4: Jispa to Sarchu

  • Wake up early, have breakfast, and start your drive to Sarchu.
  • We will cross Suraj Tal and then Baralacha Pass (approx 16,000 ft). Check-in at the campsite and with hot meals retire for the day.

Day 5: Sarchu to Leh

Stay – Hotel

Distance – 250 km
Altitude – 11,482.9 ft.

  • Wake up early, have breakfast, and start your drive to Leh.
  • Today you will cross Gata loops, Nakeela Pass, and Tanglang La pass.
  • In the evening reach Leh, have your dinner and retire for the day.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra

Stay – Camps

Distance – 160 km
Altitude – 10,000 ft.

  • Get a wake-up call in bed, get ready and check your bike.
  • Plan briefing during breakfast, ride towards Khardungla Pass, take a halt at south Pullu for refreshments.
  • Reach Khardung La pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads. A few km more and you reach North Pullu take a halt here.
  • After exploring the Diskit monastery, head towards Hunder sand dunes where you can ride the double hump camel.
  • Reach the campsite, freshen up for dinner and rest for the night.

Day 7: Nubra to Turtuk Village

Stay – Camps
Meal – Breakfast + Dinner
Distance – 70 km
Altitude – 9,845.8 ft.

  • Get a wake-up call in bed, get ready and check your bike.
  • Get briefed about today’s plan, keep riding along the shore of the Shyok river.
  • Turtuk is the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins.
  • Post reaching Thunder campsite, take your meal and rest for the day.

Day 8: Nubra to Pangong lake

Stay – Camps
Meal – Breakfast + Dinner
Distance – 275 km
Altitude – 13,861.5 ft.

  • Get a wake-up call in bed, get ready and check your bike.
  • Start your ride, and move along the Shyok river.
  • Take a stop at Durbuk for Lunch.
  • Spot Memuts on the road, take pictures of various attraction points.
  • Reach Pangong lake, check in to your camps.

Day 9: Pangong to Leh

Stay – Hotel
Meal – Breakfast + Dinner
Distance – 225 km
Altitude – 11,482.9 ft.

  • Wake up early, enjoy your time at Pangong lake. Return back, have your breakfast and post briefing start your ride again.
  • A few more km and you reach Changla Top, take a feel of the cafe maintained by the army personnel.
  • Reach Leh, submit the bike back and enjoy your day.

Day 10: Leh to Kargil via Lamayuru
