Hampta Pass Circuit Trek

Hampta Pass Circuit trek is one of those astonishing treks in Himachal Pradesh which introduces you to an entirely different world of gorgeous nature and stunning wildlife. This trek takes you on a journey of introspection and finding purpose. Hampta valley is snuggled deep in Himachal Pradesh which is yet to be explored by the commercial sector. This gives us an opportunity to venture into the wild which is unadulterated and unspoiled.

The magnificent trail takes you through immensely dense forests of oak and pine and occasionally opens up to its incredible vastness. The route is also accompanied by sparkling streams coming out of the Himalayas. The gigantic landscape looks like a gaping mouth with streams flowing in between and massive mountains protecting it from all sides.

Hampta Pass trek is amazingly famous in the summers with its absolutely lush green environment. But winters of Hampta are stunningly opposite with its entire valley covered with glittering snow. People who do not want to trek in summers, but want to soak in the beauty at its best, prefer winters to wander into the Hampta Valley.

One of the best things Hampta circuit trekking offers you is the incredible waterfalls. All the waterfalls which you cross during the trek surprise you with their startling beauty. These waterfalls are also a perfect place for you to rest and spend some quiet time to yourself.

Hapta pass trek happens only in summers, but the Hampta circuit’s best time is in winters. Hampta circuit’s weather stays very cold yet pleasant in the winters, which is stark opposite to summers. Hampta Circuit’s temperature in winters swings around -1 to 5 degrees celsius which is though less than any other Himalayan trek but is enough to give you chills. With the Hampta circuit altitude of about 10,100 ft. you not only get enough cold to shiver but also enough astonishing views to devour.

Another added benefit of the Hampta Pass Circuit trek is that it starts from one of the most charming towns of Himachal Pradesh – Manali. Manali is a cute little hamlet nestled in the Kullu Valley with the Beas Kund river flowing just beside it. What makes Manali so different and unique against all the other hill stations is it being a gateway to the adventure activities in Solang valley, and trekking in Parvati valley.

Manali also holds one of the most vibrant series of cafes and restaurants to savor. The weary old traditional streets and historical buildings enchant your soul and offer you an opportunity to witness a perfect blend of modernity and traditionalism.
