Auli Tour Package – Our trip starts from the mystical town of Rishikesh, favorably known as the Yoga capital of India. It has an abundance of yoga studios and ashrams where Yoga is taught as a priority. It is also studded with cafes and interesting places to visit. It has a culture of backpacking so you’re likely to meet many new people on the trip! Rishikesh is the hotspot for many adventure activities like River rafting, flying fox, bungee jumping, and more.

Joshimath sits in the Chamoli district of Uttrakhand surrounded by the Garhwal hills. An important pilgrimage destination of the country, Joshimath is the resting spot for Lord Badri in the winters. It’s a fascinating little hamlet of valleys and hills. You will find thick snow here from November to December.

We’ll be making a trip to the most popular destination for skiing in the country – Auli. It’s covered in thick sheets of snow making it the perfect holiday destination. The views from Auli are magnificent. The second tallest peak In India is visible from here – Nanda Devi. It is also the entrance to the Nanda Devi National park.   • We will be crossing some essential points like Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Srinagar on the way to Joshimath.
  • Experience the beauty of Joshimath and check into your hotel
  • Enjoy a beautiful evening at your hotel next to a peaceful bonfire and retire to your comfortable bed after dinner

Day 2 – Joshimath – Auli – Joshimath

Altitude: 9543 ft

Drive: 26 min (9.3 km) one way

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner

Stay: Hotel

  • Wake up to a refreshing breakfast. Today is the adventure-filled day you have been waiting for as we head to Auli! It is famously known as the Snow Winterland.
  • You can either reach Auli by car or opt to take a ropeway at your own cost.
  • Let’s visit the perfectly circular Auli Lake overlooking snowy peaks.
  • Gorson Bugyal is a wonderful meadow which we will visit
  • Check out the local market and pick our souvenirs for your friends and family.
  • You can ski at Auli if the weather is favorable to the sport. 
  • Return back to Joshimath and have some tasty dinner after a long day of adventure activities.

Day 3 – Joshimath – Rishikesh

Altitude: 1,120 ft

Drive: 8 hr 6 min (252.3 km)

Meal: Breakfast

  • Wake up to the smell of a nutritious breakfast. Fill up and get ready for your drive back to Rishikesh with the memories of this trip in your eyes.

3. Warm and thick Fleece/Full-sleeve Woollen sweater

4. Thermal inner wear (upper & lower), Scarf/muffler (optional)

5. Woollen cap, Woollen gloves, Woollen socks & regular socks (3-4 pairs)

6. Comfortable Trekking/Hiking shoes (Waterproof shoes with a thick sole are recommended)

7.  Lightweight floaters/sandals/slippers

8.  Raincoat/Poncho, Small quick dry towel

9.  Water bottle

10. Cap/Hat to keep the strong sun away from your face

11. Sunglasses (polarized/UV Protected), Walking stick/Trekking pole

12. Sunscreen Lotion, Lip Balm, Torch/Flashlight (with extra batteries)
