The temple, which is 1,330 metres above sea level and perched atop Chauragarh Peak, is only reachable after a 3.4 km hike that starts at Mahadeo Cave. When you arrive, the temple provides a magnificent view of a thick forest, valleys, and hills. In addition to tourists, there are a lot of devoted believers who hike up the hill to the temple.
