The season’s best ski destination now holding the title for launching India’s First Glass Igloo Restaurant.

Inviting you all to the Kolahoi Green Heights Hotel, located in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir. The same hotel that gained fame in 2021 for launching Snowglu aka Asia’s largest Snow Igloo. This year, they took inspiration from the glass dome stays in Finland to launch the country’s first first glass igloo restaurant in Gulmarg, kashmir. Built in the midst of snow, three cute-cozy eateries are the talk of the nation, right now.

Hamid Masoodi, the General Manager of the hotel is the man behind bringing new concepts like this. It’s his attempt to promote winter tourism in Gulmarg that resulted in the launch of India’s first Igloo restaurant in the northern part of Kashmir. A never-before concept, these rising stars are attracting igloo lovers, new-age cafe hoppers, and all young hearts who want to freeze forever lasting moments in these cozy see-through glass balls. 

Appears as normal mirror glass, the material used to construct is actually fabricated glass that is imported from Austria. Moreover, the authorities made sure of proper insulation within the glass chamber. Thus making sure whoever visits these glass igloos can enjoy everything but not the chilliness outside. 

Opened at the beginning of February, this Glass Igloo Restaurant is the latest point of attraction in the ski capital of Gulmarg. With limited seats of only three glass igloos, these see-through eateries are grabbing tourist attention visiting the snowland from across the world. 

With a capacity of eight people at once, these glass igloos make a perfect tourist spot to experience snow and the scenic beauty around. Many even complimented the concept as Igloo Cafe, it has already been remarked as a MUST-VISIT by its visitors. Complemented for the overall ambience, food served, paired with an ethereal snowy view outside.

Spring is already here. However, it’s not too late to hit these snow glass cafes in Gulmarg.
