On the Anantnag-Kishtwar highway, Daksum is a picturesque picnic area that is located 14 km to the southeast of Kokernag at an elevation of 2438 metres (8,099 feet) above sea level. Awe-inspiring scenery with constant peace and tranquilly can be found at the picturesque Daksum, which is located in a gorge that is heavily forested. The Bringi River, which runs straight through the middle of the area, is the only sound audible there.
