The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a tropical paradise that entices travellers from distant lands with their turquoise waters and shimmering white beaches surrounded by a mangrove forest and primitive jungles.

Around 572 of the sun-baked Andaman and Nicobar islands are located in the Bay of Bengal, off the eastern coast of India. The Andaman Group contains the majority of these islands, of which only 28 are inhabited. There are roughly 22 main islands in the Nicobar Islands, and 10 of them are populated.
